While he could not definitively pinpoint the root cause, he gave us two options - replace the door latch for $220 or the main board for $950. Vitalii recommended trying the door latch first, as it was the less expensive option. Unfortunately, after installing the new door latch, he confirmed that the main board was the actual problem, but it was out of stock. Recognizing the potential significant cost, Vitalii suggested we consider purchasing a new gas range/oven instead. Even though the repair was not completed, Best & Beyond Appliance Repair refunded $160 of the initial payment, demonstrating their commitment to fair and honest service.
