I was extremely satisfied with my experience working with JW Mitchell. I had an old wall heater that wasn't functioning, and I was worried it would need replacement and unsure which company I could trust to provide an honest assessment. I can say with confidence that this company has integrity. The person I spoke with to schedule the appointment was very pleasant and accommodating. The technician, Brian, who came to my home was highly knowledgeable, friendly, and quickly resolved the issue, getting my heater working again. He put my mind at ease and I appreciated his honesty. I was grateful that I didn't need a new heater, and the cost was very reasonable. He even cleaned the interior of the heater. I reached out to JW Mitchell because we needed a second opinion on a heating issue, and I was not disappointed. Brian, the technician who came to our house, was incredibly friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He conducted a few tests after examining my unit and was able to identify the problem with 100% certainty, which gave us great confidence. The other company that had previously visited not only charged us $100 but also claimed our valves were non-standard (?) and would require additional testing to determine the issue (around $600). Keep in mind, the unit is only a year old. I'm very pleased that JW Mitchell did not try to upsell us on anything and was honest. They advised us to contact our original contractor before calling them back, as they believed the issue would likely be covered under warranty. I'm usually wary of contractors, but this experience has given me hope, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of qualified, honest HVAC services.
