A friend highly recommended NextWave to me. Doug promptly responded to my call on a Friday evening and quickly arrived to fix my heating/cooling unit. He was extremely courteous, efficient, had the necessary parts on hand, and worked diligently to complete the repair. The cost was very reasonable. I would definitely contact Doug and NextWave again for any HVAC needs.
We recently replaced our entire HVAC system with new heat pumps, taking advantage of the expiring federal rebates. We chose NextWave Heating and Air and were very satisfied with their service. They provided multiple options and suggested improvements to our air circulation that we hadn't considered but have proven beneficial. We received several quotes, and NextWave was the most responsive and flexible. It took some time to determine the optimal solution for our needs, but we never felt pressured by NextWave. Overall, we are extremely pleased with their work.
I consistently use NextWave for HVAC work on my own properties and recommend them to my clients. Doug and his team are prompt, efficient, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend their services.
I needed to replace a 50-year-old furnace. The NextWave owner thoroughly assessed the situation, carefully determined the appropriate size of the new system based on my needs and the capabilities of the newer equipment, rather than simply swapping the old system with a new, oversized one. The quote they provided was significantly lower than any competitor's, and the quality of the equipment and labor was excellent. I strongly recommend NextWave.
The diagnostics were great, but the $99 trip fee was not deducted from the $550 labor quote for installing a new blower motor and control board (the parts were under warranty). Even though the system worked fine after the motor was replaced, the labor cost remained at $550, resulting in a total bill of $649. Given that the total job time was 3.25 hours, the hourly rate came out to $199, which I don't consider a fair price.
