I've been struggling with my Honeywell Smart thermostat, unable to get it to function properly. Despite Honeywell's troubleshooting suggestions, such as asking me to check the voltage by disconnecting the red and white wires, I refused to follow their steps. Ultimately, Honeywell's support told me they could not do anything further if I was unwilling to comply with their troubleshooting process. Dissatisfied, I returned the Honeywell thermostat and opted for a Google Nest Learning Thermostat, which was installed by Mason from Clearly Comfort. Since then, my house has maintained a comfortable temperature above 65 degrees. The kitchen oven has been a helpful source of warmth, and I'm relieved that my cat has stopped congregating near the open oven. While setting up the new thermostat was a bit of a challenge, as I had to call my son for the Wi-Fi password, Mason was patient and helped us get everything up and running.
